Finance
The Stockholm Arena is primarily financed via the sale of land and associated building rights in the proximity of Globen City, together with profits from operations. The total cost for Stockholmsarenan has been calculated to approximately MSEK 2,700 including land appropriation and a new parking garage under the arena. The cost is balanced against income from sales of building rights and rental from the operator who will run the arena. In other words, tax payers will not contribute to the cost.
